Yes.  I like the Kings with Saul and David.  I also enjoy Moses and his contest with Pharoah.  The Gospels also have a lot of good sections.

I really like the Old Testament the best. The stories there always keep my interest.

I also like the Revelations where they tell us how all the assholes are going to burn in hell after being tortured on earth for 7 years.

I’ve read the Bible through a few times.  My fav is Isaiah.  There are so many beautiful verses in there.  But what I really need to read is Proverbs because I’m not known for my abundant common sense...and you know, it really helps!

James 1, all of it when I’m depressed. And Revelations is AWSOME, but only if I have a concordnance, and commetary from one of the Christian Theologians, to help me to understand it!  I took a prophecy class on Revelations that was a HUGE help in understanding the many prophecies revealed in Revelations.

It’s my goal to read the entire Bible from beginning to end.  I haven’t had much success as of late.

Nope.  To an atheist like me, the Bible is just bad fiction.

Yup, several times.  My favorites are the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5,6,7) and the upper room discourse (John 14-17).  But Ecclesiastes is way cool, too… oh, and the whole book of Romans.

I started reading it about two years ago. It was summer and I figured you gotta know your enemy so I started reading the big book. Then I went to France for a year and I didn’t need a Bible there, it would have turned around in its covers. I came home last summer and read a little bit more. Then I went off to Uni and I don’t need a Bible here, it would turn around in its covers.

A favourite part… anything before Jesus (I’m not too crazy about him). Maybe where… great, I’ve forgot his name… When the father of some guys liked one of them more than the others, they got jealous and sold him as a slave. Then years later, after having interpreted dreams for the Pharaoh, he had the chance to get back at them but chose not to.

Joseph was the son that the brothers sold into slavery.

I prefer non-fiction.
