I really don’t like English 102.  It’s not the teacher or anything, it’s just all the writing.  I don’t even mind the essays, really, I just really hate research papers.  They bore me.

Anyway, I take my mid-term tomorrow, which is fine I guess… Shouldn’t be a problem, I have to go in, write an essay i’ve already outlined and bam, i’m done.  Only thing is, we can’t bring in any notes (which I think is silly).

What’s the point in making students outline an essay, grading it, then saying, “Ok, now you can’t use it, write it from memory!”

Does that make sense to anyone else?
